Ribbon Holder!

So I've been needing a ribbon holder for quite some time now, but never seem to find one "cute" enough. You know how that goes... :)

So about a month ago I found this(who knows what it was for) and decided it would work. I sanded it down, and then got out my drill.
I bought these wooden dowels at HL and got out the same size drill bit. Yes I did this without my husband. Be proud! haha

So after a little blue spray paint(can you tell I'm addicted?), some scrapbook paper and some fun letters it looked "cute" enough to be my ribbon holder.

This was a fun but simple project to do...and you could really make a ribbon holder out of anything you can put the dowels into.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway here.
Happy Monday!

  10. Well knock my socks off, I love this idea. I am going to have to try to figure out something to try this with. I hate when I have to cut my ribbons to get them out of the pile of knots they have become in the box I store them in. You did a great job, thanks fro the inspiration.
