So my Mother got me a nativity set this year(THANK YOU) and gave it to me a little early. Each year she's going to get me a new piece. What a fun tradition! Anyways until I get the full on stable I needed a stand for all of the beautiful pieces. I took a 12x12 board(you can get these cut at HD for CHEAP!) and I simply glued each piece of jute to the board. The glue was honestly the most expensive part.
Stoppin' by from TCB...I love that idea! I've ben wanting a nativity set like that for a long time...gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI just bought a stable less nativity at Kohls on Clearance. This is a fantastic idea thanks!! Came over from TCB.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I have a nativity set w/NO home! Thx for sharing! I found your blog via TCB also!
ReplyDeleteLove the natural jute for the stand! It will be so special to collect the pieces of your nativity each year. I started a Fontanini one for my daughter this year--her first year married! Love the stars!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute idea...and so simple! I love it...I can't wait to "graduate" to a fancy nativity, from the fisher price one! :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the colourless version of this one! I can see it working anywhere without being too intrusive. Beautiful job. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking it up to SNS!

Another great idea. I need one of these TOO! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I just got a similar (not as nice tho) Nativity on sale at Target. It has just the Holy Family. This is a great way to make it stand out more.
