Polka Dot Easter Egg

I saw these cute eggs and knew I wanted to make them...just a little different! So first I bought a med sized egg from Michaels. It was about $3. It was already blue, but I gave it a fresh coat with robin egg blue spray paint. Then I added polka dots with my finger. I've found that is the easiest way.
I decided it needed a few smaller dots so I grabbed a thumb tack and dotted away. :)
Next it needed ribbon. Then some rick rack on top of the ribbon... it just makes it cuter!
Then I decided I was going to stamp an egg to go inside my frame I spray painted white. But honestly the egg just wasn't screaming cute to me...
So i looked around the house for what else I had, and I found these suckers I bought at Walmart. They were cute, and I knew I wouldn't eat them... but I still had to buy them. haha NOW they serve for a great purpose.
Isn't the chick so much cuter!?!
When I added the sucker it was a little off balance, so I had to re-evaluate. I could get into physics and try to glue something to the back...but I was lazy so I stuck her in a jar! Works for me!

Cute...now go make one!!!
