Freedom Blocks

I've been in a total crafty mood lately, and have a million projects I could post but I'll try not to "over-load." Here are the Freedom blocks I just finished which are pretty similar to the summer blocks, except they are for 4th of July. Obviously! haha.

To start off you will take your unfinished blocks and sand them if needed. Paint them in your favorite colors and add the vinyl! I added the stars with wire...basically the same way as I did the summer blocks.
For the glittery tops I dabbed the wood with mod-podge and then sprinkled glitter on top. Remember you don't need a lot of glue. ;)

For the glitter stars I painted them white first and then I put a layer of glue on the top part of the star and sprinkled with glitter.

I added the stars with wire...basically the same way as I did the summer blocks.
Here is how my friends turned out. I love them!

*You can paint yours anyway...there's a lot of different combos! *

If you would like a set of freedom blocks(or just the vinyl) shipped to you go here

  2. This is the cutest 4th of July display ever. You are so talented. I wish I lived in Mesa, so I could come to your craft night. Sounds like a bunch of fun!!! Can I order the kit for 'Summer?' How do I do it??

  18. I LOVE your color pallete! I've got a red, white, and blue craft that I've never really fell in love with because I used a navy blue with a darker red. Changing it to this lighter blue might be just the pick-up it needs. Thanks for the inspiration!
