I'm so excited for the first Crazy Christmas Crafter Link Up Party where YOU get to feature all of your holiday projects!
To kick off the party the fabulous ladies from WhipperBerry are here with a great giveaway!
Hello all! We are the ladies from WhipperBerry and we are so excited to host a giveaway this weekend at I Heart Nap time!! Since this week was the Holiday Décor & Crafts week for the Crazy Christmas Crafters we thought it would be appropriate to have a crafty offering.
Last week we were lucky enough to be featured on Tatertots & Jell-o with our Blessing Board tutorial and thought we would make an extra one for Jamielyn’s lovely readers.
This is such a fun way to display Christmas cards!! And yet, versatile enough to keep up all year long. You can display pictures, kids art work, even your to do lists if you feel like sharing!!

Now let's see what holiday projects you've been working on!
You can also share something you made last year as well!
I thought it would be fun to keep party open the whole month of November, so come back all month long to link up the projects you've been working on. I'll be featuring some of my favorite links throughout the month.
Don't forget to grab a button if you're linked up to the party!
Have fun and hopefully we will all get a little more inspired/excited for the holiday season! I can't wait!
Every year, in November I wrap 31 Children's Christmas books. There is a small Christmas tree in our upstairs landing that the wrapped books go under. Every night in December, my kids pick a book to unwrap. We read it all together and put the read ones in a basket . I have done this for four years now and it is a tradition that all 4 of my kids look forward to every year!
ReplyDeleteWe've started using a Jesse Tree. Every day of the season we add a new ornament that has a corresponding story that leads up to Christ. Such a meaningful way to celebrate the season.
ReplyDeleteI like going to my Aunt's on Christmas Eve for dessert and playing the White Elephant game.
ReplyDeleteI do follow you via GFC.
ReplyDeleteI am already a subscriber! My twin girls are 4, but when they were 2 we started putting a small Christmas tree in their bedroom, and each year they get to choose a small ornament to add to the tree. The ornament has to be indicative of something that happened that year (so maybe a preschool ornament for 1st day, etc.) they are already looking forward to picking out this year's!

ReplyDeleteSomething about Christmas morning and just being together with my husband and my 3 teen boys is magical and tradition. We are happy to still be together as a family ... Autism, cancer, death, lots of challenges and crisis and trauma's ... we are together and that is enough for me!
ReplyDeleteI already am a follower of I heart nap time.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Christmas is both a happy and a sad day for us.
our favorite family tradition is passed down from my Mom (who isn't with us anymore). We make a Christmas Chain made with scrapbooking paper in 4 different colors to represent each family member. Each strip has something to do together as a family on it. Whether it is making cookies, watching a movie, hugging someone, seeing Christmas lights. Each day someone takes down a link reads it and we do the activity together. There are 25 links to represent the first 25 days of December. The kids like to watch the chain get smaller and know how many days are left till Christmas. We have been doing this with my kids for 13 years.
ReplyDeletelove this! my fave tradition is when my Mom buys all of us new pajamas - the kids and grandkids. we get them on christmas eve, and all sit around in our new pj's playing games and watching christmas movies.

ReplyDeleteMany years ago my family and I adopted the tradition of a family we know - they always have Linguica on Christmas morning (with waffles and other breakfast-y foods). It's a South American sausage, and I just love it. My arteries? probably not. But to me, it means Christmas morning.

ReplyDeleteEvery year on Christmas Eve we make Sour Soup. It was a tradition my husbands grandfather used to do that we picked up. We have the whole family over. At the end of the evening our family each opens one gift which is usually PJs.
ReplyDeleteI subscribed to your blog and the WhipperBerry one. I will tweet about the giveaway as well. ;-)
My favorite holiday tradition is making goody plates with the kids and taking them to friends/families and sometimes people in need. We always ding-dong ditch them on the doorstep so there is no "repaying" the favor. I love to cheer people up with a plate full of homemade goodness. Thanks for the chance :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful giveaway! Though we have many special Christmas traditions, my favorite is going to the Christmas Eve candlelight service at church, heading home to open up new pjs for everyone, and then bake/decorate Christmas cookies with the whole family before bed. Make for a busy Christmas Eve, but I wouldn't change it! Thanks again for a great giveaway (and blog!) :)
