One of the questions I get asked most often is “How do you do it all?” Well first off let me just get this out there… I don’t! By the end of the day there’s still a million things on my to-do list. I’ve learned over the last couple of months to let a lot of things go. THE most important thing is my family, so that is what I put first.
With that said my sweet Emmalyn loooves to be held all day long. Now as much as I’d love to sit down and hold my little girl for hours there are things that need to get done during the day. This is where the sleepy wrap comes in handy. Holy cow, talk about a LIFE saver! I really was intimidated to try one of these slings because there is a lot of wrapping going on, but after I put it on a few times it’s a piece of cake! It maybe takes 30 seconds!
A few months ago I asked my FB readers what their favorite wrap was, and The Sleepy Wrap is the one I heard people raving about. I have to say I have been VERY impressed with it so far! I LOVE the fabric on the organic sleepy wrap. It is super soft, and it’s a very comfy sling! And I must say their customer service is wonderful! I ordered my wrap on a Friday and received it on Monday. I was so excited to try it out.
Not only do I love the sleepy wrap but so does my baby!! She could live in this thing ALL day long! She loves facing forward to see what’s going on. I would say 30% of the time Emmalyn’s awake she’s in the sling. Then most of the time she’ll fall asleep within 20 minutes. It’s great! I also love it because it distributes the weight across my back, not putting pressure on either shoulder. I can easily wear it for an hour or two without feeling any discomfort. I seriously can do EVERYTHING wearing this sling.
I put my makeup on with her in it, sweep/mop floors, cook, do hair, take Carson on wagon rides, sew, blog, craft and lots more! LOVE it!
Guess who else has worn the sleepy wrap? Yup that’s right… my husband! He’s going to kill me for putting this on… in fact I don’t even think he knows I snuck this picture. I just thought it was to cute not to capture! I have THE best husband. I remember feeling so stressed right before Christmas and he put Carson to bed, stuck Emmalyn in the sling and started cleaning. I’m a lucky girl!
Here’s Miss Emmalyn helping her momma make some chocolate strawberry covered marshmallows!
This thing is also WONDERFUL for shopping! There’s no way Emmalyn’s car seat would fit in HL small shopping carts. I always put her in the sling whenever we go to the store now. It makes my life so much easier with two little ones.
