I’m sure you’ve all seen the cute little $1 mailboxes in Target’s dollar bins.
have I mentioned I LOVE Target Dollar Bins!
I’ve already seen some really cute ones around blog land. I bought mine a few weeks ago and finally got around to dressing it up a little. I thought it would be fun to drop a little “love” note in the mailbox each day leading up to Valentines.
I found this super cute paper at the scrapbook store and decided it would be perfect to cover the mailbox. I simply traced the lid and mailbox and then cut it out.
I also needed to cut a hole to fit the paper around the screw. After that I modpodged the paper on and added a few cute embellishments.
Then I wrote my first love note… :)
I’ve seen these stuck on candlesticks as well which looks super cute…
Aren’t these little mailboxes so cute?! I think it’s a fun way to surprise your Love each day. Get Creative! ;)
These would also be a fun to fill with chocolates and give as a gift. YuMmY!

So cute!
ReplyDeleteI bought one of these too and decorated it. I cut out "love notes" in vinyl and put it on the front and put it on our island so me and the hubby can swap notes to each other.
THAT'S FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love how your Target mailbox turned out! We are doing the same idea in our Happy Home - even the Happy Hubby decorated his own mailbox. It is absolutely hilarious because he was trying to protect his manhood while doing crafts at the same time.
ReplyDeleteYou can see a pic of his mailbox HERE - http://happyhomefairy.com/2011/01/21/the-25-days-of-love-fun-day-2-valentine-mailboxes/
