4th of July Subway Art

My friend and I made these a couple weeks ago, and they were so fun!
First we had some plywood cut down to 12x12's. Lowe's will do this for you. Then I painted a few white stripes. If you wanted to tape them off for a "perfect" line you could do that as well.
Next I painted my red stripes, and distressed around the edges a little.
After the paint was dry we laid down the vinyl. It's a lot easier to push down with a credit card.

Slowly peel away, and admire your beautiful art!

I think my 4th of July display is now complete! There isn't even room
 for a bowl of m&m's....

  18. I almost can't like it...because I'm jealous of the vinyl...but I'm putting my pettiness aside to say. It's DARLING. (of course) I love all the fonts. Such great choices. Yay!
