Sundae Scoop & 1000 followers Giveaway!


Welcome to another week of Sundae Scoop! Can't wait to see what you've been up to! 
I was shocked just now when I noticed I was at 1,000 followers. Do that many people really read my little ol' blog?! You must just love ice cream as much as I do... :). How exciting, that makes me happy!! In honor of all my amazing readers (who are far more talented than I) I want to do a fun giveaway! I made a few necklaces this week and will be giving one away to one of you!

    Hi, I'm a follower and I love the ruffled skirt you created. My 12 year old would really love it. Do you have a tutorial for that? I need a project to teach her. I love your necklace too. So sweet! I'm going to have to look at the tutorial about how to make the flowers cause I want to put some on my daughter's pillow (I'm making).

    I live in the Chicago area. If you are going downtown we like Weber Grill, and Rosebud on Rush. For the famous Chicago pizza the tourists go to giordano's but the locals all like lou malnati's. Lou's is a little harder to find. I think there is one near the Lincoln Park Zoo.

    dear Jamie, my favorite icecream is , mint choclate chip. and my favorite i heart nap time was the monkey themed party you did. it was Imaculate......, for your little one. I loved EVERY BIT when i turn 30 you are in charge of my party decor. thats four years away.

    I love the makeover and DIY projects. The summer blocks was one of my favorites, as well as the ottoman and the desk makeover. The kitchen makeover was awesome, too.

    I've never met an ice cream flavor I DIDN'T like, but I'll never turn down Pumpkin or even good ol' Vanilla. I actually prefer the lower fat versions, though the high fat ones save on lip balm ;-}

    I love so many sweets and ice cream. Last night I had cookies and cream at the movies but when they were putting it on my one I was like, do I want dutch chocolate? But I always love me some vanilla with chocolate syrup and sprinkles. I love it all!

    I love milkshakes made from vanilla ice cream with hershey's syrup. But... if you make me a milkshake using chocolate ice cream I won't eat it...yuck. I know, I'm a total weirdo. :) lol

    Great place to eat in Chicago. . .Unos or Duos. The wait is long, but if you want authentic deep dish Chicago pizza, that is the place! Unos is the original, but Duos has the same stuff. Sooooooooo yummy!

    Plus anything Cold Stone.....
    and we have a local ice cream shop (Columbus, Ohio) called Jeni's that has the most AMAZING Salty Caramel flavor that makes you crave it until the end of time.
