So naturally I have a sweet tooth... which I inherited from my mom who inherited it from her dad....and so on! However ever since I've been pregnant with this little girl ALL I crave is sugar!! Essentially this means that I expect want a dessert after every meal. For example...today I had cereal for Breakfast then I craved something sweet so I grabbed a naked juice smoothie and had one of those. For lunch I had a PB&J and then had a bag of m&m's after. Later for a snack I had some fruit, ate a pudding... and maybe a chocolate covered macadamia nut. I ate a big dinner and now I'm craving something for dessert. I think I have a problem... and I'm really nervous about the results from the glucose test I just took on Wednesday!
I'm really wishing I had the energy ingredients to make this yummy dessert from The girl who ate everything. You know it's gotta be good when it has strawberry - cream - puff and CAKE all in the same sentence!
So is any one else a sugarholic like me?? If so, got any good recipes to share? ;)

I always had the worst sweet tooth when I was pregnant. But now I'm paying the price! LOL! I always craved cold, and crunchy things. So apple crisp with ice-cream on top was always (and still is) a winner for me!
ReplyDeleteYou know what's SO WEIRD? When I'm preggers, I don't eat sugar! It's the weirdest thing....since in real life I'm addicted to sugar. As soon as I get pregnant the sugar craving turns off. And the second I'm not anymore, flip, back on.

That looks divine! I love sugary stuff too, unfortunately. I have a great Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake recipe on my blog today, as a matter of fact! :)
