It’s my Birthday, Let’s Eat Cake!

Okay so it’s not EXACTLY my BirthDAY... but today is the day I’m going to celebrate. Who are we kidding… I celebrate ALL week long!

I’m a leap year baby so my real birthday only comes every 4 years. Next year is the big one! I found  out one of my friends on FB is also a leap year baby… any others out there?

Today I’ll be eating cake, getting my toes done, enjoying a nap and a surprise from my husband! My hubby’s on break this week, so I’m getting spoiled with a break from the kids. :)

So I wish I could have all of you over for cake and ice cream today. However since my house isn’t that big and most of you aren’t from AZ, Tookies {delectable sweets like no other} has graciously offered to send one of you 2 jar cakes! Look how YUMMY these look!

So here’s to eating cake!

    Happy Birthday Week!! My brother is a leap year baby too. My kids always enjoyed knowing they were "older" than their uncle (although he is my "big" brother). One thing I love about your blog is the great ideas that you share - I always find something creative and inspiring! My favorite cake is red velvet, and that jar looks Delicious!

    Happy almost birthday! I believe birthdays should be a week-long celebration too. Hope you enjoy yours! My favorite kind of cake is yellow cake with raspberry filling and buttercream on top. Preferably from my favorite bakery in my hometown.

    It's my birthday today, too! :) You're totally within your rights to claim a week of celebrating you! My favorite cake is white with vanilla buttercream (be it pink, yellow, blue or any other color).

    My birthday festivities include bitching out my bank and transferring my money elsewhere (after 15 years), getting the dog groomed and spending the day with my adorable 11-month-old who makes me ♥ naptime. :)

    i love that you celebrate your birthday all week and i love vanilla cake with vanilla frosting! my son missed being a leap year baby by one day-today's his birthday! the dr asked me if i wanted to wait but i said no!!

    My dad's birthday is on leap year too, which is good, because I didn't a card in the mail for him this year, and he told me I had a whole year, woooo, that was close, haha.     Happy birthday! You know what first attracted me to your blog?? The name! As a mother of 6...I could totally relate. Not sure what my favorite cake is...it's probalby about a four-way tie. But for *my* birthday I usually love German chocolate with HOMEMADE frosting!

    Happy Birthday Week! I guess one advantage of having your birthday only every 4 years is that you can tell people you're that much younger.

    My favorite thing is tutorials...

    and my favorite cake is either chocolate with chocolate frosting with raspberry insides, or funfetti with the vanilla kind with candy balls inside (can't think of the name). yum!

    My mom is a Leap Year baby and has had 14 official bdays...that just makes my 7 & 5 yr olds giggle! They'll catch up with her soon! I love everything about I Heart Naptime...the recipies andthe fun, easy projects. I'm a chocolate cake girl, all the way...pour a little milk over the top and I'm over the moon. =)

    I was supposed to be a leap year baby - but I came early. In fact, the hubs and I both had our birthdays last week!
