Crazy Christmas Crafter: Craftomaniac!

HELLO I love Naptime w/ Chocolate Sundae fans. I am Jennie and I am the author and crafter behind Craft-O-Maniac. I was very thrilled when Jamielyn emailed me and asked if I would like to participate in her fun Crazy Christmas Crafter. I was totally on board!

I am here to show you all how to Make a cute CANDY Canes for sale sign! This would be so cute to give as a gift with a small tin can with candy canes, a jar, or even in the box.
HOW TO: I first recycled a piece of wood from my sons torn apart changing table "drawer" I had to be creative and fill in the long then groove. I did that with twine, or is it jute?
1- PAINT your board! I used Wicker White acrylic paint, let dry.
2- Tape vertical lines down on your board
3- Paint them red I did a Country Barn Red. Let dry
4- then I cut out vinyl with my Lyrical Letters Cartridge for my cricut and applied that on. You  most certainly can stencil the letters.
5- Since I had a groove to fill in I added twine and hot glued that on and tied a bow. You can embellish your board with ribbon or what have you.
6- I finally roughed up the board with my cricut spatula and made it look more old and worn.
FINALLY place the cute sign in front of a jar or canister of Candy Canes.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS CRAFTING AND THANK  YOU SO MUCH Jamielyn. -Jen
